    After the battle of the bulg the americans saw an opportunity to advance forward and started operation lumberjack to reach the bank of Rhine. Seeing that Rhine was the last major geographical obstical for the U.S. army Hitler ordered it to be destroyed. on the morning of March 7th the german army sought out to destroy the bridg due to its foundation the brdge stood strong and the american moved quickly to gain controle of the east bank and sucured the bridg.

    On April 4 1945 the American troops liberated Buchenwald consetration camp. Durring the time of the liberation an underground resistance sent out a message to the Allies saying "To the Allies. To the army of General Patton. This is the Buchenwald concentration camp. SOS. We request help. They want to evacuate us. The SS wants to destroy us." Buchenwald was runing for 8 years befor evacuation. ”

    As the power hungery Mussolini rose to powere he attemted to reign over the Mediterranean. He quickly over worked his army and partnered and relied on Hitler to succed in the war. In late April Mussolini tryed to flee spain and go back to Italy. On april 28 him and his mistress were executed.

    In the month of April Hitlers army took a big hit form the American Army and the Red Army. Hitlers soliders were desperately trying to fight them off and Hiter saw that they were not succeding. He had used up alll his forces and tactick and his empire was turning into ashes. After he was informed of Mussolini's exicution he quickly got his affairs in order and commited suiside.

  • Treaty to End War with Germany

    This treaty was signed by the allies. This Treaty allowed the following countries to have the right to qualify to be a part of the United Nations, Italy, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, and Finland. It also stated that the Axis for the War reparations, and also discussed the land issues.
