Choi Hong Hi is the creator of the martial art form called, "taekwondo." He was a general for the South Korean Army, and he served in the Japanese army during World War II. Taekwondo got its name on April 11, 1955.

Western Allies created the Berlin Airlift to carry supplies such as food and fuel to people who are in the Western parts of Berlin. In the Berlin Airlift, there were seven different airforces participating which resulted in over 200,000 flights in a year.
