The second modern olympics was held in Paris and took place in May 14 - October 28.The second modern olympic had nearly 1000 athletes representing 24 countries, also there was 95 events and 19 sports. The sports that were in the second modern olympics were track and field athletics, swimming, wrestling, gymnastics, fencing, French and British boxing, river and ocean yacht racing, cycling, golf, lifesaving, archery, weightlifting, rowing, diving and water polo.
