  • Sann Francisco Earthquake

    This earthquake occurred at 5:12 a.m. on a Wednesday morning. The entire city was ruined and there were 3,000 people dead. Once this was over, 80% of San Fransisco was ruined.
  • Election of Woodrow Wilson

    Wilson won the election against Roosevelt.
  • World War ii Begins

    This war included Great Powers, and two opposing allies. There were 70 million military personnel were deployed, 60 million of them were europeans. This is the largest war that has happened in history thus far.
  • Sinking of the Lusitania

    Captain William Thomas Turner slowed the Lusitania due to the fog. U-20 locked on to the Lusitania and launched a torpedo at 1:40 p.m. hitting the starboard directly. This caused the ship to explode, then sink.

    The United States joined Allies Britain, France, and Russia to fight in the war.
  • World War 1 Ends With Treaty of Versailles

    There was a world conflict that 9-13 million lives were effected. Germany & Allied Nations signed a Treaty of Versailles, ending the war.

    This was the women's suffrage amendment. This was allowing women to have equal rights.
