    First sound film was created by Williams Dickson. He recorded the first sound film featuring a violin scratching out a melody.

    The first color film was actually tinted by hand. One frame at a time color was added to the film. The movie was called Annabelle Butterfly Dance.

    The kiss was the first time to feature a kiss ever on film. It was 30 seconds of broadway stars making out. The companies most popular movie at the time.

    The first narrative film was called The Great train robbery. Made by Edwin Porter. Lasted 12 minutes long.

    The first theater to attract 2.6 million viewers each week. They then realized how much it would make . They began doing more shows.
