Those meanie japanese decided that they were going to "awake the sleeping giant" and bring the US into the war. They noticed that Hawaii was a "dagger pointed at japan's throat", and they decided that they had to destroy the US Pacific Fleet, which harbored in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. They bombed the harbour :( those meanies. so, the US declared war on japan.

we didnt read about this....but they formed a UN to be fair and not make the selfish mistakes of the League of Nations - not WANTING to GET INVOLVED in war, and appeasing evil people like hitler

Germany surrendered after 3 million allied soldiers and 6 million soviet soldiers invaded germany.....a lot of people!!. the germans surrendered offiically on may 9, after hitler killed himself and his wife, and himmler, his right hand man. did you know he was gay?? he only married eva braun for "image"....freak. whatever. so we won, and celebrated V-E Day (victory in europe day). yaay. aww the soldiers in the pic are so happy :)

aug - sept. we bombed japan to get back to them with fat man 9(the big atomic bomb), but they didnt surrender, so we bombed them again with little boy 9(the small atomic bomb), and then they finally surrendered. that was mean of us, as much as the japanese were meanies. people are still dying of cancer from radiation there :( all because of us. that sucks for whats-his-name from U. of Chicago (thats where my cousin went :)) who invented it. i feel bad for him :( poor guy got his career ruined :(
