100,000 people hade left to find gold from Klondike and only 40,000 people made it to Dawson City where only 4,000 people found gold. the gold rush started in 1848 however many people did go until 1849. -
Edward Hargraves discovers gold
Edward discovered gold in New South Wales, Australia near Bathurst. over the next ten years the Australian population would more then double. many people would travel to Australia in those ten years looking to find the riches through gold. -

Conflicts that caused the Indians to uprise against the British were about biting the end off animal greased shells for the gun powder when they didn’t eat animals. 2 reasons why the Indians were resentful of the British East India Company were that they controlled all economics and politics and they starting taking over the land which was not there’s to take.The Europeans thought the natives were savage heathens after the conflict was resolved. -

Thomas Edison created the phonograph
In 1878 he established the Edison Speaking Phonograph Company to sell the new machine. The Phonograph was a machine that recorded messages when you spoke to it. it made writing, dictating and family recorded messages alot easier to do. -
Thomas Edison created the light bulb
Thomas did not actually create the light bulb, but he improved on a 50 year old idea. the light bulb was the first form of electrical light and was a guaranteed long lasting source. the creation of this made Thomas very famous and his companys started to expand all over the world. -

Bosnia was taken over by Austria- Hungary which caused outrage. the black hand gang were a bunch of Bosnians who really hated the Austria- Hungary. seven of the members went out to kill their archduke. after 6 were unsuccessful the car stopped infront of the seventh who killed him and his wife. -

The treaty was an agreement which said for germany to take the blame of world war 1. the treaty had rules that Germany had to abide bye and if they didnt there would be conciquences.
