  • Executive Education 'Theme Meeting'

    On the 4th March the steering group met to discuss the provision of Climate Change focused Executive Education. The meeting was led by Nick Oliver of Edinburgh University.
  • Development Officer appointed

    Development Officer appointed
    On the 16th March, Jess Lovell was employed as the Development Officer. Based in Drummond Street, Jess works closely with the coordination and steering groups. Previous to her eemployment as the Development Officer, Jess worked at an Environmental Consultancy specialising in Carbon Management.
  • Postgraduate Teaching 'Theme Meeting'

    On the 18th March the steering group met to discuss postgraduate teaching focused on Climate Change. The meeting was led by Dave Reay of Edinburgh University and Hamish Mair of Heriot Watt University.
  • Public / Private Research 'Theme Meeting'

    On the 30th April, the Steering Group met to discuss Public and Private Climate Change Research. The meeting was led by Robin Wallace of Edinburgh University.
  • Policy and Industry Gateways 'Theme Meeting'

    On the 25th May the steering group will meet to discuss policy and industry gateways. The meeting will be led by Navraj Singh Ghaleigh of Edinburgh University and Andy Kerr, also of Edinburgh University.
  • Sue Roaf introduces the ECCC to Scotland Europa

    On the 3rd June, Sue Roaf gave a presentation on the ECCC to a group of Scotland Europa members. at the Scottish Parliament. The presentation was well received and has generated extensive external interest in the development of the CEntre.
  • ECCC Governance Meeting

    On the 19th of June the steering group will meet to discuss ECCC governance. A presentation on public awareness, outreach and marketing will also be given by Liesl Elder of Edinburgh University and Sue Roaf of Heriot Watt University.
  • Open Consultation meeting on the ECCC

    On the 1st July we will be holding an open consultation meeting on the ECCC at Old College. The meeting will be a chance for the wider Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University communities, and otherexternal parties, to learn more about the Centre, and also to contribute to the development of the main strategic themes.
