On September 3rd 1939, The Germans attacked Poland with Hitler’s command. Adolf Hitler sent his troops to attack Poland from the air as well as on the land. Hitler did this because he wants to take back lost territory from the German’s as well as to rule Poland. This is ultimately what marked the beginning of World War 2. The invasion of Poland was a start with Hitler's plan to wage war which later became the "blitzkrieg" strategy. This was shown by extensive bombing to destroy the enemy’s air.
