The first motion picture ever made wasa a horse galloping. It was about five seconds long. Eadweard J. Muybridge made a bet that a horse has all his hooves off the ground at one point and made $25,000 dollars because his firends doubted him.

First camera is invented

George Eastman introduces the lightweight, inexpensive Kodak camera, using film wound on rollers.

First action film released

Dec 1, 1903

"The Great Train Robbery," the 1st Western film, released. It was about a group of bandits who had the police hot on their tails.
