  • 'Honey Lounge fined for displaying banner'

    In August 2009, the LEP reported that the owners of The Honey Lounge had been fined over £2,000 for failing to obtain permission from Preston City Council before displaying a large advertising banner. The reasons for the bar's closure remained ambiguous.

    In December 2010, the LEP reported that a new music venue, the Live Lounge, was to open on the site of the old Mood bar and Honey Lounge. The new venue would be run by a company who also ran a live venue in Blackburn.
