George Wasington lost about 6 major battles, and won only about 3, but the three he won were the three that mattered in the end. The war so important because this war was for the U.S. to expand and become a dominate country.

    The Manhatten Project

    The Army component of the project was designated the Manhattan District gradually superseded the official codename, "Development of Substitute Materials", for the entire project. The whole project was given a big headstart by Dr. Albert Einstein, who signed a letter written by Leo Szilard, which was sent to F. D. Roosevelt, advising him that the Nazis were probably trying their best to invent a nuclear weapon. This was very impotant because the americans used this in the world war 2.

This war followed the First Indochina War and was fought between North Vietnam, supported by its communist allies, and the government of South Vietnam, supported by the United States and other anti-communist countries. The importance of the war was that the U.S wanted to stop comunisium in Asia.

There were 4 hijacked planes 2 hit the twin towers in NYC and the other 2 one hit the Pentagon and the other landed in a open felid in Pennsylvania. This event will always be remembered because of its sagnifigance. signifigance is thaat someone had the meanness in them to accually do something like that. There where people that had to jump from the tower and caused instant death upo impact.
