Start of my Adulthood
This was the date when I first believed I became an adult because I was starting my own life without my parents helping me. I was able to move forward with things and already had the knowledge and skills I needed. It wasn’t really about my biological age—it was more about my psychological age and a non-normative life event. There was just one specific situation I went through, and that made me become an adult earlier than 18 years old. -
Major Life Event
Tracking my stress for three days along with the survey -- as mentioned in 4C that I experienced PTSD. I coped with it by using my coping skills by cooking and baking different recipes -- kitchen is one of my therpautic. As in textbook (section 10) discussed about concept and behavior of coping with stress. I believe that it was effective for me in my own way as I was able to move forward by using my own coping skills as to relieve stress. As an young adult and others are not always easy to cope -
Fowler
Life is about love, connection, and learn from both good hard times. Am Catholic yet I also believe the universe gives signs and that God gives to us in different ways even through life itself. On Stage3: Synthetic-Conventional Faith, where my beliefs are shaped by my family my background. When older, Individuative-Reflective Faith, where I’ll trust my own spiritual experiences and continue building a faith that’s personal to me, still connected to God, but more open and deeper. -
2.3 - My current healthy lifestyle
A week ago, I decided to start eating healthier instead of relying on fast food. I’ve always maintain my physical health by walking and running daily, usually with my dog by my side. I’ve already made some changes. As a college student, I often forget to eat or just order food because I’m too focused on school and other responsibilities. That made it hard to keep up. This change got me thinking—college environments should do more to help students focus on health and wellness. To prevent diabetes -
Adult Attachment Style
I chose option B. The results showed I have very low anxiety and avoidance—which I completely disagree with. I have severe anxiety, but when it comes to my partner, I do feel a sense of relief. Still, he doesn’t take away my anxiety overall. For avoidance, I might agree with that part. I don’t really see myself as avoidant. However, I can be very reserved and selective with my attachment style. I’m also introverted. I like to keep my circle small and stick to what feels comfortable. -
My RIASEC Type
In 2029, I will be 25 years old, the age I think I’ll be starting my career. Based on RIASEC, the results showed what I expected—the highest one is Investigative. It’s not fully accurate for me, but I somewhat agree because of what I’ve been studying and experiencing during my college years, which has been heavy on research. Even my upcoming internship, I’ll be their research assistant. I could see myself as one of the researchers, but in public health or health communication - I prefer. -
Young Adult Role Transition
In this year during my young adulthood, I clearly see myself I would be a married woman and grow a family with my partner that I have been together for four and half years. I also see myself owning one of the online business, complete my master's degree, and own a home. All of these events, I will be 26 years. I picked that age based on my observation and plans I made. It is a good age. Challenges.. what if life become much difficult due to financial high life in America.. -
Working Memory
I have such a short working memory to memorize some letters or pictures tests that I just took as the results showed I barely could remember. I could not memorize it if trails has long letterds and only show for few seconds. My brain could not process it faster. When aging, I am concerned that working memory might become very challenging for me like ot remember numbers or any important smal info about me, family, children, or anything that matters to me. How can I prevent? Take notes to remind -
Older Adult Role Transition
In 2048, I'll be 45 years old. I barely and have not imagined what my life would be like at age 45. However, I am hoping I get to see my kids growing up, in theri high school or college years. I want to push tem through in their lives and to be successful. The challenge would be about my eye health along with usher syndrome. No idea at all what age 45 would bring me. AThe more I get older, health conditions tends to be fall apart (speaking od eye health) but other than still check up at doctor -
Super’s Stages
a career in health communication, I see myself in the Maintenance stage at age 45. By then, I’d have a lot of experience and stable in job. I might be working for a health organization, making sure people understand health information clearly—like through campaigns, websites, or social media. Make it accessible, even in ASL. I imagine being in the Maintenance stage at age 45. keeping my career stable and continuing to grow while helping others in the field. -
2.4 - Potential consequences of my lifestyle.
Cancer and diabetes are running in my family's genes. That are two of my possibilities of risk factors for my health when I become older. There's an exact health condition I have that is not listed in the textbook -- Usher syndrome. It does affect my eye health when I become older as well. Usher syndrome could not be prevented or even cured. For cancer and diabetes, I always get check up annually. And be sure to take a blood test to see any futher health issues that can be addressed. -
