She starts 5th grade. She is very exited for this. -
War started
Zlata saw horrible pictures on TV in Drubrovnik of a war. She knows now that there is a war going on. -
Shooting
On this date in Zlata's town shooting starts. There is a war going on in her town. -
Kidnapped
In her country the president was kidnapped. Know every one there is very worried. -
Best Friend
Her best friend Nina dies by getting hit by a peice of sharpenl. She is very sad because Nina was an innocent girl. -
Uncle
Her uncel gets injured. He is than rushed to the hospital -
All gone
She is left with her family. All of her friends have left. -
Burned Down
The city Maternity Hospital is burned down with all of the shooting. This is very trajdic. -
No electricity
At this time the electricty gets turned off. She has know idea when it will turn back on. -
Near death experiance
Zlata almost dies. A piece of sharpnel flies through the window alomst hitting her. She could have died the same way her friend Nina died. -
Burned
Zlata's other home her beautiful country house that her family just remolded gets burned down. -
So many dead
So many people have died during this war. Now though, her uncle has died. -
Finally electricty
After so much time of waiting....their electricity finaly comes back on. -
Leaving?
Zlata and her family were saboust to be escorted out of Sareavejo, but no one showed up to take them out. -
Gone
On this date her family are finally excorted out of Sareavjo, but they do have to leave family behind. Though they are out of the war!
