  • The industrial revolution

    The Industrial Revolution was the processes of machines from 1760 to 1840. it was the time where cars trains and lots of other things were created that we still use these days, without these inventions life wouldn’t be a lot different. If the industrial revolution didn’t happen we probably wouldn’t have cars ,internet, mobile phones and good jobs that we take for granted. It also lead to a vaccine for smallpox and also the first pasteurized dairy products.
  • The American revolution

    The American Revolution occurred between April 19, 1765 – September 3, 1783. It was a war where the thirteen American colonies over threw the rule of Great Britain and founded the United States of America. It went on for 7 years, 11 months, 3 weeks and 2 days. A number of social, political, and changes in peoples ways of thinking, resulted in the American Revolution. As a result thirteen states were formed which now is known as United States of America.
  • The enlightenment

    The enlightenment was about the changes in loss of faith in traditional religions such as science, human rights and democratic rights. It effected the European Jewish community and resulted in the Jewish haskalah . The Haskalah is the beginning of the bigger engagement of European Jews with the secular world.   • The french revolution

    The French revolution happened in France between 1789–1799. This was a very important time in history which has played a critical role in showing the world the power of the people. Napoleon Bonaparte was a French military leader who was an important part of the Revolution. The cause of the Revolution was due to the French people’s frustration with the state of the country e.g. financial situation, food shortages and the power of the privileged few. So they decided to take action and over threw
  • first battle of bullecourt

    it was an attack on germanys treanchers east of the village of Bullecour.germanys plan was to advance three kilometers north, taking the village of Hendecourt, two kilometers north east of Bullecourt.Bullecourt the Australian 4th Division attacked without artillery support to surprise the germnas.Germany held back in the trenches for several hours and were driven back to their starting line with the loss of over 3000 men. Germany plained this attack very poorly and had a great loss.
  • World war 1

    World War 1 started I July 28 1914 until November 11 1918. The cause of the war was differences in foreign policies as well as the assassination of Austria’s Archduke Ferdinand. The two main sides were the Allies consist of France, Great Britian and Russia, and the other Germany and Austria-Hungry. Altogether there were 30 countries involved in the war. By the end of the war over 9 million people died and 21 million were wounded. New weapons were invented and used in world war 1 e.g. Big Bertha
