Pearl Harbor

Know as the date which will live in infamy. On this day, the Japanese hit Hawaii with a surprise air attack. They hit many ship and most were destroyed. 2,400 people were killed and more than a 1000 were injured. Japanese Internment Plan

The camps lasted till March 20 1946. After the order from President Roosevelt, more than 100,000 Japanese Americans were forced to leave their jobs and homes. They were placed into different camps and lost everything. On this day many people from American, Britain, and Canada came together to storm the beaches of Normandy. Los Alamos is located in New Mexico. It was one of many places that was created for the Manhattan Project. Hiroshima

Located in Japan. This was the site where the first atomic bomb was dropped. This killed many people that were in the city and the in the the bombs radius. It was a planned attack on Japan after they had refused to surrender in the war. Days later another bomb was dropped in Nagasaki.
