    The US was neutral until Japan bombed them, but they were supplying food and weapons to Britain against Germany.

    This was the code name for the project that was developing the atomic bomb. Einstein was a big leader in this.

    The allied powers were US, GB, China, and the Soviet Union. Axis powers were Germany, Italy, and Japan.
