    German forces invade Poland beginning and ending

    This is the day that German dictator Adolf Hitler began his quest to build his empire he started this by invading Poland which is apart of the US and this gives us a reason to join/intervene in this war to end it as fast as possible because they have now attacked us and our land directly.

    isolationism was a policy that was basically a thing that stated we are staying away from the affairs or interests of other groups including political affairs of other countries. This was a reason the US stayed out of WW2 because it did not involve us and we wanted no part in it.
  • France falls to Germany help or don't help vote.

    This was when Nazi Germany defeated France despite the fact that France had mobilized five million men to fight. France surrendered, the country was divided into Nazi-occupied territory in the north and Nazi-allied territory in the south. This caused Great Britain to become the only major power at war with Nazi Germany and its collaborators. The US had a public vote to help Britain or leave them be the public voted no this was one reason we stayed out of the war

    The date which will live in infamy was a Japanese sneak attack on one of the U.S.'s harbor's that took down some of our ships and killed 100's maybe even 1000's but this shows another reason the U.S. had to join the war because they attacked us and our people directly.

    The Battle of Midway was a major naval battle in the Pacific Theater of World War II The U.S. Navy defeated an attacking fleet of the Imperial Japanese Navy that inflicted devastating damage on the Japanese fleet that rendered their aircraft carriers irreparable and caused the Japanese to stop there exaptation. This was one of the decisions that was made in the WW2.

    This was an attack/takeover of a island airfield that was held by the Japanese this shows not only the economic reasoning behind the U.S.'s economic goal of taking Japan's resources and air-fields but also shows there political war plan to get closer to Japan's capital to finish the war.
