    Bataan Death March
    After the United States gave the Bataan Peninsula to the Japanese ,76,000 Filipino and American troops marched 65 miles to the prison camps. They were forced by the Japanese in the 1940's. Many were left dead because of the harsh conditions they were put under by the Japanese guard. That, and heat concluded in many prisoners perished. This is why the it is called the Bataan Death March.
  • Warsaw Ghetto Uprising

    Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
    In Warshaw, Poland the Jewish ghetto preformed an armed "war" against the transferring them to extermination camps. There were 700 Jews killed during this uprising. There were about 56,000 taken to camps. The uprising gave the jewish people hope.

    Allied invasion of Italy
    After the Axis fall in North Africa, the Allies could attack Germany by going through Italy. When the Invasion began the Italian goverment surrendered to the Allies. The Italians were more tolerated. This was because they agrred to help the Allies execute the Germans from Italy. The outcome was Mussolini being kicked out of the war.
