Japan bombed Pearl Harbor which is a U.S Naval Base in Hawaii , they did it early in the morning (around 8 am) with japanese fighter planes . They did it because they wanted to strike fear in american people and it's leaders , Japan bombed Pearl Harbor because they wanted to slow down the american military .
