The treaty that "ended' WW1, but really caused WW2. Germany took the brunt of the punishment, which angered many Germans. This will cause later events. -

Benito Mussolini, an Italian man, was given power on 10/29/1922. No one saw that this would lead to him being a fascist leader, which he was. This was one of the reason Hitler rose to power was because of Mussolini. -

Japanese massacred Chinese citizens in the capital, and committed horrible atrocities. This left the capital in shambles. -

Italy and Germany agree to a military and political alliance, giving birth formally to the Axis powers. this for an alliance with them together. -
Germany invades Poland, beginning World War II
Germany invaded Poland to get more land and expand. This was the last stray for allies they declared war on Germany,which lead to a war on Italy. -
Germany, Italy, and Japan sign the Tripartite Pact
Japan joined the steel pact and changed the name to the Tripartite Pact and lead to them to fight the allies. This gave the Axis more troops and power.
