    Japan Invades China

    After the japanese attack on Peral harbor China joined the Allies and declared war on japan. Japand was more after resorces and oil since the US stoped supplying them with it, Japan and China had their "incidents" as other peopel called it but this war played a large roll in the Pacific war.
  • Munich Conference

    The Munich conference took place in Munich Germany. Today the conference is seen as a failed attempt at appeasment. The purpose of this conference was to talk about the demands Adolf Hitler was bringing to the table.
  • Non-Aggression Pact

    August 23, 1939 ( just before world war II) Germany and the Soviet Union signed a pact that stated they would not use military forces against each other for 10 years. Stalin took advantage of the oppertunity by taking the time to build up his army. On the other hand Hitler used the time to invade Poland. The pact came to an end when the Nazis invaded the Soviet Union on june 1941

    Germany Invades Poland

    1939 is when the Germans attacked Poland by air and by land. The war strategy they used went by the name of Blitzkrieg. Although Poland had a military of 1 million they were still under-equipped. 3 days after Germany attacked Poland, Great Britain dropped bombs on Germany.

    The second world war air campaign by the German Air Force against the United Kingdom. It was fought by air force only, and it was the largest aerail bombing to date. Germany wanted to be the best and in order to do that they had to shoe they had superiorty in the sky. They did not gain that tho
  • Lend-Lease Act

    Orginally known as a way to promote the defense pf the united states. The lend lease act supplied France, Great Britain, Republic of china and USSR with food, oil and other supplies needed. Most of the aid given was free, although some ships were returned after the war. This also ended the neutrality that the United States was showing.

    This was a code name for the Nazi attack on the Soviet Union during World War II. This was the largest invasion in the history or warecraft. Opperation Barbarossa turned out to be a failure. Along with this failue Hitler hit many other bumps in the road

    This day marked the end of World War II. It is known as a holiday and is celebrated on May 8th. Germany had surrendered and Hitler and some of his peoppe had commited suicide because they knew if they got caught they were not gonna make it out anyways.

    also known as the treaty of friendship. This pact was a defense treaty among 8 comminist states in eastern europe. it is sasid that the strategy behind the warsaw pact was the Soviet Unions desire to take over central and eastern europe
