    Benito Mussolini appointed Prime Minister of Italy. He promised to restore Order after the deprresion of war.

    Josef Stalin sole dictator of the Soviet Union (USSR). Stalin turned the Soviet Union into a totalitarianism. He took high measures to have complete control of industry and agfriculture.
