    Treaty of Versailles
    When people who dissagreed with the treaty they noticed problems and pointed then out many times. People who did agree just ignored them and named them after ignorance. The "war guilt" made the agreements in the treaty seem to play out as fake. The plans went wrong and the treaty was no longer able to become the dominant continental power again.

    Competition for Resources and Markets
    Japan only has a alittle bit of Iron and Coal. Other than that they have very little natural resources for market. With out that crucial stock they as a community could completely fail. Without the power to bring the community back to wealth and stablity Japan will plumit. Other countries have the opportunity to be stable for the rest of us. In there area is riches of natural resources.

    Anti-Communism, Expansionism, Facism, Militarism, Nationalism, and Racism all lead up to the tensions. After World War I the afterwar period was crucial and the Ism's lead up to and contributed to the World War II.

    Genocide is what the Holocuast really was. Just a way to wipe out a whole nation or religious group. Jews, communists, and people with physical or mental disabilities were the ones who were targeted.
  • Problems with the League of Nations

    Problems with the League of Nations
    People ended up seeing flaws in the league and eventually some countries dropped out of it. Without the strength of the two missing nations the league went towards failure. Wilson Woodrow wasn't helping at all. His new plan was so unsuccessfull that the league was worse after the fact.The addition of an industrial and military world power would have added more force behind the League's demands and requests for the people. Without the power they were lessened.

    Some thought the Euro war was beyond over and they didn't anything of the following battle for the rights. Others thought it was just the second to last part of the Euro war,
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor
    Pearl Harbor was the attack on three islands Hawii, O'ahu and Honolulu. Pearl Harbor devastated everybody with the results. Millions died and the ones who didn' t were forced to live on rations until the nation became stable again. Living on rations, agression, and stratagies to hide was not easy then. The bombing and naval attacks were horrific.

    Battle of the Bulge
    Operation “Watch on the Rhine” was intended to split British and U.S. forces in northern France. After the plan failed they went and tried to keep them away from attacking. By usuing the "Bulge" stratagies they were trying to push into them with their own force and mix them up into a big allied force so they would stay away.
  • The Death March

    The Death March
    Death march of nearly 60,000 prisoners from the Auschwitz camp system in southern Poland. The troops were forced to walk to the Auschwitz camp because they were caught on "Hitler's Territory" and were not supposed to be there. They planned an attack against them but it failed.
  • The Displaced People

    The United States Congress passes the Displaced Persons Act, under which approximately 400,000 displaced persons could immigrate to the United States over and above restrictions. U.S. powers will give around 80,000 of the Jewish people displaced persons.
  • Joseph Stalin

    Joseph Stalin becomes Italy's new Prime Minister. He turns the Soviet Union into the most totalation state.
