    The Battle of Okinawa was faught on several islands in the pacific northwest. This was the bloodiest battle of the Pacific. Again, the USA dominates over Japan, but only after having lost thousands of soldiers. Around 75,000 Japanese military and civilians died or commited suicide.

    Bombing occured first in Hiroshima, then in Nagasaki. Bombing caused instant death to hundreds of thousands. August 6th, Hiroshima was bombed, then on Nagasaki, 3 days later.
