This created a domino-like effect. When one country cteated problems with their enemies, the ally of said enemy would join in to help their ally. Soon enough all enemies and allies were joined together in a full on conflcit.

    Militarism

Militarism was another huge cause for World War I. The problem was that different countries were expanding and improving their militaries and navy forces. When some countries began to build fleets of ships in the off shores of their land, rivaling countries saw the advances to be a threat. This only enouraged more problems between nations. New weapontry was improved upon. Battleships, "Dreadnoughts", were being built by different countires.

This event pulled different nations into the war.
  • The Treaty of Versailles

    The Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles was a peace treaty. This treaty was between the allies and Germany. The treaty basically pushed Germany into accepting the blame and responsibility of World War I. It made it so that Germany was left to pay debt caused by the war. This treaty also weakened Germany's power as far as what land they owned and how strong their economy was. With Germany unable to pay the debt of WWI, they began to violate sections of the treaty. Some of these violations are what began WW2.

-ADVANCEMENTS IN TECHNOLOGY: New advancements in technology were made because of WW1. Weaponry was advanced. This fact came into play when WW2 started.
  • The Great Depression

    The Great Depression
The Great Depression was not one of the main causes of WW2, but it did however contribute some help. The Great Depression affected Germany is ways such as poverty. Their economy had been weaknened so horribly that people were struck into poverty. This poverty is what allowed Hitler and the Nazis to rise in power. Their power offered a way out of poverty for some. This, however, was a mistake to later be discovered.
