Dec 16, 1941 The Japanese sent their second air raid on Singapore. Dec 25, 1941 The Japanese drops propoganda's from their aircrafts. Dec 29, 1941 The Japanese second air raid (third) on the city of Singapore in the night. Jan 12, 1942 The Japanese henceforth started their day bombing until the British Surrender Jan 31, 1942 The Malaya's fall at the causeway which delays the advancement of the Japanese troops to SIngapore. Feb 1, 1942 During the month of febuary the Japanese killed an estimate 25,000 to 50,000 people during the Sook Cheng massacre. Feb 1, 1942 The Japanese have strted to arial bomb Singapore on a daily basis from Johor Bahru. Feb 8, 1942 The Japanese cross the straits of Johor Bahru by inflatable floats and lands in Singapore to start the Battle of Singapore. Feb 11, 1942 The Japanese fircely attack the Bukit Timah Hill. Feb 13, 1942 The Japanese try to concur the Pasir Panjang Ridge by fighting the Malay regiment. Feb 15, 1942 The British surrendert to the Japanese and Singapore is renamed "Syonan." Sep 27, 1943 Seven Japanese ships get bombed at Clifford pier. Oct 10, 1943 The Japanese intiate the Double Tenth incident in response of the operation Jaywaik Mar 27, 1944 Lim Bo Seng got captured by the Japanese and then died after 3 months of torture. Aug 14, 1945 The Japanese surrender and they stopped looting and stealing from the civilians. Sep 5, 1945 The British returns to Singapore after World War 2 and began a militasry administration of the Straits Settlements. Apr 1, 1946 The Staits Settlements is dissolved and Singapore turns into a seperate crown colony.
