    Benito Mussolini promised to restore order by strong leadership. He and his followers threatened to overthrow Italys goverment, in response the king elected him prime minister. Mussolini made Italy into the world's first Fascist state. Which means a political system based on miltarism, extreme nationalism and blind loyalty to the state and its leader. Mussolini eneded freedom of press and banned all political parties except his own.

    The Hawaiian island of Oahu was attacked on December 7th 1941 by the Japanease by naval air, and ground forces by the harbor. The attack destroyed nearly half of the military aircraft on the island including battle ships too. around 2,400 Americans were killed.
