    Woodrow Wilson became the President of the United States in 1913 andit lasted until 1921
  • World War 1 Time Frame

    The start of World War 1 was in July of 1914 after the assassinaition of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife in Sarajevo Serbia and thats when Austria Hungary declared war on Serbia
  • Winston Churchill

    Winston was a part of the war in 1915 and then resigned, but in 1917 he was appointed Minister of Munitions

    German soldiers would be in their trenches and they would play this board game called Mensch Aergere Dich Nicht, and some say that it gives computer games a run for their money

At least 1900 passengerson the board and 1100 passengers died including 120 Americans an the ship sunk just off th south coast of Irelandin less then 20 minutes

    Wilson proposed a 14-point program for world peace. These points were later taken as the basis for peace negotiations at the end World War I. He believed the enactment of these would form the basis for a just, lasting peace. The address was intended to assure the country that the Great War was being fought for a moral cause and for postwar peace in Europe.

    The League of Nations was rejcted in November of 1919 because the US Congress did not feel like it was strong enough to succeed
  • Schenck vs United States

    Schenck vs United States
    This case involved a man named Charles Schenck and he attempted to distribute thousands of flyers of American servicemen that were recently drafted in the war to fight. His flyers asserted that the draft was amounted to "involuntary servitude" which outlawed the 13th amendment. Then he tried to say that the Espionage act violated the first amendment which isinvolved with freedom of speech and he was found guilty on all of his charges that were put on him.
