    V-E Day. This day marks the surrender of Germany, and the end of World War 2.

    The Hiroshima bombing consisted of the US dropping an atomic bomb on the Japanese city Hiroshima. This caused the Japanese emperor to accelerate his surrendering.

    The US dropped another atomic bomb on the Japanese city Nagasaki. This was purposed for forcing Japan to surrender even quicker than it was after the Hiroshima bombing.
