    March on Washington

    Over 200,000 protesters marched Washington DC for freedom of Jobs and Freedom, the march was a success and JFK intiaded a bill in congress. Martin Luther King was the leader and spoke at the march.
  • Bloody Sunday

    600 people gathered to march on the capital Montgomery which was 52 miles away, 17 of these marchers were hospitalized including a congressmen who had a fractured skull.
