Annabelle meets Betty
It was around the beginning of the school year, and Betty made the impression of bully towards Annabelle and her classmates in the schoolhouse. Betty moved from the city, and to her grandparents. She had made everybody move, so she could have a desk by herself. As she starts to bully Annabelle more, Toby one day sticks up for her and pushes Betty into poison ivy. -
Annabelle and Toby get to know each other
Annabelle family starts to open to a man named Toby, a veteran from war. Not many people are too fond of him because of his behavior. However Annabelle's family are lot more kinder to him, as his mom sometimes makes him food for him to eat. Annabelle gives Toby the camera she used to take pictures. -
Betty meets Andy
Andy and Betty meet in the school house. Betty was sitting in Andy's seat, and Andy hadn't been at school so they didn't know each other. However, they quickly got along with each other from their impressions of each other. They only had respect with one another, and were disrespectful to the rest of the students. -
Ruth loses her Eye
Ruth is very good friends with Annabelle. Annabelle and Ruth were at recess, and they were talking with a man named Mr. Ansel. Everything was normal until Ruth unexpectedly got hit in the eye, and she was damaged. Later on, its revealed she has a missing eye. -
Find out Betty's lying
Mrs. Taylor announces to the class about Ruth and her missing eye. Annabelle has some information that intrigues Mrs. Taylor. She visits Annabelle's house and talks to her parents about it. They find out that Betty lies about being in the Belfry tower when Ruth got hurt, because Mrs. Taylor had locked it in the morning. -
Toby and Betty go missing
The next day after it is known that Betty's lies are figured out, Constable Oleksa visits Annabelle's house and tells her and her parents that Betty and Toby had gone missing. -
A search party is started
Constable Oleksa starts to investigate the disappearance of the two people. Many people start to speculate that Toby had done something to Betty, but Annabelle does not want to believe he is the culprit. -
Annabelle find Toby in a shack
Annabelle ends up finding Toby in a shack in the woods. Annabelle takes Toby with her and locates him in a loft near her home, so she knows where he is. For now, they don't reveal to anyone else of Toby's location.
