Golding was born on September 19, 1911, in Saint Columb Minor. The parents were Alex and Mildred Golding. -
In 1923 William was 12 years old and tried to write a novel that didn't turn out well. He would take his anger out on other kids in his school. -
William attended Brasenose for College and graduated there. -
Joined the army after teaching for a little. -
Golding went back to teaching after serving for 4-5 years in the army. -
Golding published his first book, "Lord of the Flies" which is still popular today. Before published, was rejected 20+ times. -
The film adaptation that is inspired by "Lord of the Flies" is published. -
Williams won the Nobel prize for literature. -

Sadly in 1993, William died of a heart disease. He did many great things in his life and one to remember.
