In 1923 William was 12 years old and tried to write a novel that didn't turn out well. He would take his anger out on other kids in his school.

William attended Brasenose for College and graduated there.

Army

Joined the army after teaching for a little.

Golding went back to teaching after serving for 4-5 years in the army.

Golding published his first book, "Lord of the Flies" which is still popular today. Before published, was rejected 20+ times.
