He recived his early education from his father then, attended Brasenose College at Oxford in 1930 and spent two years Studying science, He then switched to the lititure program and followed his dreams.

Golding took a position teaching English and philosophy at Bishop Wordsworth’s School in Salisbury. Golding’s experience teachin, He then got an inpiration to write a novel.

First Careers
Golding worked as a writer, actor, and producer with a small theater in an unfashionable part of London, paying his bills with a job as a social worker. But he enjoyed theater way more.

Navy Years
Attended the navy the next 6 years, he fought battleships at the sinking of the Bismarck, and also fended off submarines and planes. Golding was even placed in command of a rocket-launching craft. -Daniella Diaz -
First Novel
Golding published his first and most popular novel, Lord of the Flies. The novel was a story about a group of adolescent boys stranded on a deserted island after a plane wreck.

After Years
Golding spent the last few years of his life living with his wife, Ann Brookfield, at their house near Falmouth, Cornwall, where he continued to write novels.

Death
On June 19, 1993, Golding died of a heart attack in Perranarworthal, Cornwall. He was survived by his wife and their two children, David and Judith. His Book is still popular world round till this day.
