Saw God
I'm not completely sure what the day was but when William Blake was only 4 years old apparentally he says he saw "God put His head to the window." -
Saw a tree full of Angles
One day when William Blake was taking a walk through the country he stopped and saw a tree full of angles. He was only 9 years old when this happened. -
Went to Drawing School.
Before William Blake was ten he was home schooled. But one day he decided he wanted to learn how to draw so his parents sent him to drawing school. -
Went to Engraver School
When William Blake was only 14 years old he had to go to engraver school becuase art school was far to costly for his family's budget at that time. -
Started Writing Poems
One day, I'm not exact;y sure which one, in 1679 William Blake started writing poems. -
Gets Married
Got married to Catherine Boucher on August 18, 1782. -
Set up a Printshop with a Friend
In 1784 William Blake set up a print shop with, James Parker, a former fellow apprentice. -
Saw his Brother's Spirit when Robert Died
William Blake started teaching his younger brother, Robert, how to draw, paint, and engrave. Later in 1787 Robert grew ill and passed away. Later that day William claimed that he saw Robert's spirit raising through the ceiling clapping his hands with joy that he was now free. -
Moved to Felpham
Sometime in the year 1800 William Blake moved to the seacoast town of Felpham. -
Moved back to London
Some time in the year 1803 William Blake moved back to London only after 3 yaers of living in Felpham. -
Died
William Blake died in London, the same place that he was born, on August 12, 1827. The day that he died he put an end to his family name.
