Her mother paaed away and it the begining of her own life alone in the world. and she trying to stay strong and want her mother to come back and be with her. and her life is going down hill from there on. and this is the begging of her planing to do the PCT. -
Lady
Lady is one of the horses that her mother’s love. After 3 year of her mother death she has to put her down for good because of lady is old and they couldn’t afford to help lady. So they put her down, she also felt upset about the fact that lady was the last connection to her mother. She was all hoping that her mother would ride on lady. She was all hoping it would heal her instead it just brings more pain to her. -
She and Joe
she met joe. She trying a heroin and liked because she don't want to feel anything and she called is a planet heroin. so she wasteing her life. Joe also make her get pregnant. and he also change her. She was pregnant with Joe and then she had an abortion because she was not ready and she just didn’t want more problems in her life. She also addicted to drug and she do not want to feel or remember nothing about the fact her mother were dead -
Paul
She and Paul was still in love but she get divorced cause she felt that is was not right for her to married him because she been sleeping with other guy. Sometime she wonder what happen if she didn’t sleep with other guy would she still married him. She also changed last name to strayed because of the definition of the word is her life she love him so much he the man that she will not find again. but she have to let him go. -
No Water
She also showing us the skill that she had because she didn’t had water to drink and kept walking and found the pond but it wasn’t purifier she made the water to become safe to drink then she drink it a lot. She also already have skill of surviving and she know how to set up fire and making her tent. This changed her a lot, staying out in the wood also strength her skill -
the begining of PCT hike
she get ready and begin to walk on the PCT for the first time. as she spent her life trying to live without her mother. she want to find an answer for her self and she wanted to do it all along. She never done hiking before and it her first time on the trail. At first she felt weak and didn’t know anything so she always depends on the book about the trail that she had. -
Shiny Feather
Doug is one of the strangers that she meets on the PCT trail. He gives her good luck feathers which help her believe and believe that the feather would help her throughout the trail. And meet him again but this time she almost complete her jouney and she still have the good luck feather with her and I think it could be the symbol of friendship between them. She also gives and shared the wine with him. -
The Queen Of The PCT
The queen of the PCT was giving it to her by the three young bucks because people always helping her out giving her place to sleep and food. But they never help other people who were in the PCT. Now she almost finish with the PCT she have a lot of confident and happy and she could feel herself stronger than before staring the PCT. Everything was perfect at that moment and time. -
The End Of The PCT
As she finishes up the PCT she also fined something in herself. She also didn’t believe in herself that she finish the PCT. She also comes back 15 year later with her family. As she look back to her past and knowing that she was made it this far as she felt good and because of her will, the trail had taught her a lot while she were there. She completes her goal and starting her new life there.
