Before the attack.
At dawn on December 7, the Japanese task force reached a point slightly more than 200 miles north of Oahu. At 6:00 a.m, the six carriers launched a first wave of 181 planes composed of torpedo bombers, dive bombers, horizontal bombers, and fighters. The U.S Navy vessels spotted an unidenified submarine persiscope near the entrance to Pearl Harbor. It was attacked and reported sunk by the destroyer USS Ward and a patrol plane. -

Japan attacks Pearl Harbor because the U.S placed an embargo on Japan due to their takeover of Indochina. The Japanese military was asked to devise a war plan. They proposed to sweep into Burma, Malaya, the East Indies, and the Philippines, in addition to establishing a defensive perimeter in the central and southwest Pacific. -
Day of Infamy.
The attacks happened at 7:55. Nobody really knew what was happening. Most people was still asleep when it happened.At 8:10 the USS Arizone was wounded by a bomb with ignited the ships. 1,777 crewman died on that ship. The USS Oklahoma was sank. The USS pennsylvania was laying drydock across the channel. Within the first few minutes all ships at Ford Island has been bombed or taken. The USS Tennessee and Nevada suffered degrees of damage as well. The Americans were suprised.. -
After attack.
Franklin D. Roosevelt got on air and was telling everybody across America about what had happened the morning of December 7th. Eveyrbody across the United States was shocked because nobody knew about it. This was the first time something had been aired on air. -
Japanese forces attacks Hong Kong
This battle lasted from december 8th-25th. The attack happened a few hours after Pearl Harbor. 50,000 japanese soldiers were positioned within 50km of Hong Kong. The code name for this invasion was "Hana-Suku(Flowers in bloom, flowers in bloom) The japanese soldiers destroyed Docks, Military barracks, airplanes,and gun emmplacemments.The Canadinas were outnumbered 10 to1. Hong Kong surrendered Christmas Day 1941. -

The attack happened at 0827 hours when 9 japanease aircrafts dropped bombs that destroyed fuel tanks at m,arine Barracks. Heavy bokbs drovbe residences out of their homes forcing them to leave the city. -
Attack of Philippine Islands.
The attack happened at 3 a.m, also after the Pearl Harbor attack,The Japanese were attacking with 181 Mitsubishi bombers and 84 Zero fighter-bombers. -
Japanese attacked Midway Island.
The Battle of Midway, fought over and near the tiny U.S. mid-Pacific base at Midway atoll, represents the strategic high water mark of Japan's Pacific Ocean war. Prior to this action, Japan possessed general naval superiority over the United States and could usually choose where and when to attack. After Midway, the two opposing fleets were essentially equals, and the United States soon took the offensive. -
Japanese attacked Wake Island
the Kisaragi, destroyed by a direct hit on depth charges stored on her deck. The Japanese had lost around 700 men. The naval bombardment of Wake had only caused four American casualties, none fatal. However, two of the four airworthy Wildcats were forced to crash land. Only two were left.
