It was very hot outside so Gramps took a detour and parked by the Missouri River. Gram and Gramps are sitting in the water watching Sal throw rocks into the water. A water snake appears and it looks harmless but it bites gram and she is rushed to the hospital imediately.

Everyone looked around and saw the rock.

It was thei rlast day in South Dakota and Gramps had t see the Blac Hills.

Gram had her heart onseeing Old Faithful through the trip and is very exciteed dhe can see it know.

While they were heading to Coeur D'Alene Gram said she would take a nap but Gramps and Sal soon see gram is pale and is not responding so they rus her to the hospital where the doctors say she had a stroke.

Gramps didn't want Sal to stay in the hospital the whole time so he gave her the keys to his car and told her to go see her mother. On the way to see her mother Sal stops where the accident happened and goes down ther e to see the bus that her mother was in when it crashed. Sal is caught driving alone by the sheirff while looking down there. instead of taking her to jail he takes her to see her mother.

After road trip Sal and Dad move back to Bybanks. Gramps moves in with them.
