Salamanca Tree Hiddle is a very interesting name. The reason her parents named her this was because Salamanca was a name of an Indian tribe of her great-great-grandmother, Tree was because of her mom loved trees, and Hiddle because it was her last name.

Salamanca drives the car to where a bus crash later in the year. She realizes that her mom was on the bus sitting next to Mrs. Cadaver. Later in the same day, Gramp leaves a note saying that Gram has died.
