    This allowed for white men to vote on a local level.
  • Seneca Falls Convention

    Seneca Falls Convention
    This was the first womens rights movements. Held in New York.
  • 15th admendment

    15th admendment
    This made it where you couldnt keep people from voting based of race, color, or for being a freed slave.
  • Jim Crow Laws

    Jim Crow Laws
    This made it nearly imposible for freed slaves and their childern to vote. Poll taxes: most african americans had very little money preventing them from voteing. Literacy tests: most african americans couldnt read or write. Grandfather clase: if your grandfather voted then you could but no african americans grandfather could vote.

    This gave the current term limits for senetors and base how they would be elected. aswell as made it to where the people directly elect senetors.
