    Only white, land-owning males could vote.

    Black men were given the right to vote.

    Allowed womens right to vote.

    Abolished poll taxes

  • Voting Rights Act of 1965

    Prohibits states to deny black people their right to vote.

  • 26th Amendment

    Dropped the voting age from 21 to 18.
