    Vlad Tepes was born
    Vlad Tepes was born late 1431. Vlad III’s parents were Vlad II otherwise known as Dracul, and Cheajna of Moldavian. He was Vlad II's second son oldest out of his three sons, Mircea, and Radu the handsome being his other sons and Vlad's brothers. Sources:

    King Henry VI of England crowned king of France
    King Henery was born on December 6, 1421 in Winsdor. He was crowned King of England in September 1422. After his grandfathers death in 1431, he was crowned King of France as well. He was crowned on Becember 16, 1431 at Westminster Sources

     Plymouth, England, becomes the first town incorporated by the English Parliament.
    Plymouth was the first toen incorperated by english Parliment. Plymouth is located in south-west England, not Massachestts, USA. It was one England's greatest naval base, but was destroyed in World War II, and although it has been rebuilt, it never regained full strength. Sources

    Vlad III,11 and Radu (Vlad's brother, 7 were taken to Turkey as prisoners to make sure that their father didn’t strike out against the Turks. While imprisoned, the Sultan liked Radu more than Vlad. This might have been why there was rivalry between them later on in life Sources:

    Birth of Leonardo da Vinci
    Leonardo da Vinci, most known for his paintings the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper was born April 15, 1452. He became the apprentence of Verrochio where he studied art for six years. By the age of 20 he was considered a master artist. Besides drawing, da Vinci also worked in the sciences. He drew the parts of a human body and drew some of the first designs for flying machines. Leonardo da Vinci died in Amboise, France, on May 2, 1519. Sources

    Birth of Amerigo Vespucci
    Both North and South American were named after the Italian explorer, Amerigo Vespucci. Vespucci was the first to travel to the, "New World" and identify them as North and South America. America was named after him when Martin Waldseemuller, mapmaker, labeled the new world as America, after Amerigo Vespucci. Vespucci died when he was 58 from malaria. Sources

    Vlad Avenged his father and brother
    Spring of 1457 Vlad III invited the boyars responsible for killing brother and father for lunch. When they arrived, he instead kidnapped them and brough them to Aref. There the healthy were forced to build him a mountain fortress and were treated like animals. The unhealthy boyars impaled for everyone to see. Sources

     Vlad killed entire village
    In 1460, Vlad destroyed an entire village, killing a total of about 30,000 people. This was one example of how Vlad enforced laws under his reign. Wallachia was had very little crime while Vlad was in control. It got to a point were Vlad could leave a golden cup at a fountain and no one stole it because they knew what the consuquences. Sources

    War broke out
    Vlad III refused to give Wallachian soldiers to the Turks, which aparked a war. Vlad was greatly outnubered in the war. Vlad III won the war, however because he used smart war tatics, like in his, "Night Attack" Sources:

    “Night Attack”
    During the war, Vlad had a plot to kill the Sultan. The Sultan found out and was outraged and sent his army to destroy Vlad's villages When they got to the nearest village it was already destroyed and 20,000 Turks were impaled on stakes. Vlad did this himself so the Turks couldn't defeat him. Sources

    At the end of his second reign, Vlad was accused of helping the Turks and was arrested by King Matthias Corvius. Vlad was held under Matthias' custody for 7 years. During this time he got married to IIona Szilgay, which was arraanged by Matthias, as a way to get Vlad back on the throne, with a connection to him. Sources:

    In 1469, King Edward IV and Earl of Warwick broke their allience and became enemies. Edward IV attacked Earl of Warwick late March 1471, and won. This was a huge victory for Edward IV Sources:

    Vlad defeated Basarab Laiota and comes into power again. This period of rule was also very short ruled, and Vlad did very little. It ended when Vlad was killed by someone unknown. Sources

    Vlad the Implaer Died

    Vlad the Implaer Died
    Lad was killed in forest north of Bucharest. He supposedly was mistaken for a Turk and killed. It is most likely that one of his rivals killed him. No one knows what happened to his body. One rumor was he was beheaded and hishead was used a trophy. Tradition would have had him buried in the Snagov Monastery, but his remains were never found. Sources
