    Start of the Revolutionary War-The Reformation
    There were many factors of the Revolutionary War but, it all started during the reformation. The reformation saw a huge fissure in the church, it seperated people created minorities in the church. These minorities became disencfranchised with it's goverment and were most likely to settle in America. Thus a large portion opf settlers were discontented with their government before they even arrived in America.

    The first representative government in America gives the people their first taste of power.
  • Navigation Act

    Navigation Act
    These acts enforced mercantilism in England by almost forcing Americans to buy English goods. This caused a large amount of colonists to start smuggling in cheaper goods, so when the acts are tightened many smugglers had resentment towards Britain.

The purposes of the Albany Congress were to try to secure the support and cooperation of the Iroquois in fighting the French, and to form a colonial alliance based on a design by Benjamin Franklin.

    The final colonial war. massive conflict involving Austria, England, France, Great Britain, Prussia, and Sweden called the Seven Years War. The war caused a relaxation of British rule in the colonies, giving the illussion of independence. Causes taxes to rise for colonists after the war.

    the council presented the proclamation to calm the fears of the Indians, who felt that the colonists would drive them from their lands as they expanded westward.

    An act that caused unfair prices to be levied in favor of the East Indies company. The act crushed the prices of local merchants and practically forced the tea to be bought.

    The Sons Of Liberty destroy 3 boatloads of tea dressed as Indians. This would lead the British to punish the Massachussetts colony and further anger Americans.

    Acts passed directly in response to Boston Tea Party. The Act punished Massachussetts in several ways, such as trade embargos, ammendment to the Quartering Act that enabled troops to be housed more efficeiently, and even gave British judges all say in courts.
