Who whould of known a harmless dear could of cause a 14 year old boy his life. Thats what happened to Emmett Till, when he flirting with a white lady caused him to get beating to death. President Dwight D. Eisenhower"s VS. the Little Rock
President Eisenhower didnt like to live by the laws of other. It mad this clear when he didnt listen to Browns decision and made troop go after the Little Rock nine. They are important because they charge the world for every colored kid who want to go to school with whites. -
Mack Charels Parker
Mack Charels was an innosent African American who was accused of raping a pregnant white woman. Three days before he had to go to trial, he was kidnapped from jail by a mob, and was beaten and shot. He was important because it showed how careless authoriy can be to just let this man get kidnapped from jail. -

The freedom riders were a group of high school teens who protested high way segregation. They are importants to African Americans because now the buses and high ways are intergated. -
William Lewis Moore
William Lewis was a postal worker and Congress of Racial Equality. And he was killed after a proest against racial segregation. He is important to African American becuase he fought for African Americans to have equal rights and lost his life for them. -

On February 26, 1965 a civil rights protestor who was shot and killed by Alabama State Trooper James Bonard Fowler. Jackson was unarmed and didnt want to fight. -

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was shot while standing on the balcony outside his second-story room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. He is important to African American becuase of EVERYTHING he did to help support African Americans.
