PS1
The very first Playstation was $300. There were 2 models of it. One small and one big. Both were gray. To save game storage you were required to have a memory card. It came with one controller which was wired and not wireless since it was an old console. -
Playstation 2
The Playstation 2 was the second Playstation that Sony made. It released in early March of 2000. It was sold worldwide. There was 2 different models of the PS2. The normal big looking one and the slim. Aout 155 million were sold. The best selling game for the ps2 was Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. -
Playstation Portable
The Playstation Portable or for short "PSP" was one of the coolest inventions by Sony yet, especially back in 2005 when we didn't even think this would be possible. The PSP was discontinued in 2014. Many games were available to play on it. It was fully wireless and could fit in your pocket. You can pretty much take it anywhere with you. You can do more than gaming such as surf the web or listen to music. It was a very handy device. It gets its power from charging. 76.3 Million sold worldwide. -
Playstation 3
The PS3 had 3 models. There was the original one in 2006, the Slim Model in 2009 and the SuperSlim Model in 2012. They all were amazing and all worked in the same way. They discontinued the ps3 in 2015. The PS3 was the first controller to be wireless. It was the dualshock 3 controller. The best selling game for the PS3 was GTA V. -
Playstation 4
The PS4 came out in late 2013. It was the console that changed gaming forever. The Playstation 4 has lots of functioning abilities to it that will take forever to talk about. It had wireless controllers, the dualshock 4, that change colors depending on what game you play. Playstaion 4's price is $500. They worked on the PS4 from 2008 up until its release in 2013.
