1st Generation May 24th, 1947: Magnavox Odyssey was the first video game console; Magnavox Odyssey was invented by Ralph H.Baer. The Magnavox Odyssey was successful and until Atari arcade game pong video game came in.

2nd Generation October 14th, 1977: Atari 2600 became the most popular game console of the second genration and over came the Magnavox Odyssey somwhere around 1977.
But in 1976 VES was invented by Fairchild Semiconductor and copyed by DES adn became the 2nd Generaton

3rd Generation July 15th, 1983: NES was the third video game console, it was from the Nintendo.Nintendo brought their Famicom over to the US in the form of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1985.

Sega Genesis

4th Generation October 29th, 1988: Sega Genesis was the fourth video game console, it was made by the Mega drive.However the game became a fail because it did not work.
