This allowed the United States to aid warring countries and this meant that the counry was beginning to get involved which was a big first step -
Germany Invades France
Germany was taking over the countries that the US was aiding and they were getting a feeling that they would soon need to get involved. -
US Lend-Lease Policy
The United Ststes was now giving miliary aid to foreign nations and that allowed them to be involved but not completely. -
Atlantic Charter
This charter binded the U.S. closer to Great Britain -
Attack on Pearl Harbor
This was the last straw for America because American citizens were killed during the bombing so they felt it necessary to get involved. -
US Declaration of War
America had finally decided to get involved after all of these events occured. At this point it was inevitable to get involved.
