The Treaty of Paris brought closure to the American colonists as they no longer had to fear of French rule. although it had brought some colonists closer together as they no longer directly relied on Britains to protect them from France, they still worried of the looming effects the Treaty of Paris may have on them. this allowed them greater freedoms without fear of France
