This was a period when Jaz music became very popular. It was started with the 18th ammendment in 1920. The radio comming into America was a influential event in Jazz music becoming popular. -

The Great Depression began with Black Tuesday (October 29 1929). The result of it was a surge of unemployment, and large scale closure of banks. -
World War 2
World War 2 was a battle against Hitler and Nazi Germany. The United States came into the war on December 7 1941, after the Jappenese bombed Pearl harbor. -
Pearl Harbor
Pearl Harbor was an unannounced attach on the American base in Pearl harbor. When the Japponese did this it brought the United States into the war. This also led to the atomic bombs being dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. -

The cold war was a period of time after World War 2 that was a period of tension between the United States and the Soviet Union. This also led Mutual Assured Destruction -

The Korean war was a fight of North Vs. South. The war lasted from June 22 1950 to July 27 1953. The end result of this war was the seperation of the Korean penninsula -

TheVietnam war lasted from 1959 to 1975. This war used tactis like search and destroy. -

The gulf war was aginst Sadam Hussien after he invaded Kuwait. This war killed Kuwait's economy , because when the Iraqies left they burned Kuwits most aluable resource oil. -
September 11 2001
A Terrorist attack against the United states. Was executed by 19 Al-Queda hijackers who hijacked 4 planes. 2 hit the twin Towers, 1 hit the pentagon, an 1 crashed in Pennslyvania. -
Operation Enduring Freedom
Operation Enduring Freedom was an invaison of Afghanistan to destory the people responsible for 9/11. Its biggest accomplishment is the killing of Osama Binladen. This operation is still going on today. -

This was a mission end of the threat of WMD against the US. Which also included deposing of Saddam Hussien
