  • French Revolution

    Although the french were a major factor in the success of the revolutionary war, the U.S refrained from involving due to george washingtons belief in staying out of foreign affairs.

  • Enter WW1, End of U.S Isolationism

    The U.S entered the war and ended it long period of isolationism

  • Wilsons 14 points

    wilson drafts his 14 points, one of them being League of Nations which would later be called the United Nations. Sadly congress did not decide to be part of it.

  • Official end of WW1, Signed Treaty Of Versailles

    The U.S and othe rcountries draft a treaty to be signed by all countries involved in WW1 to 1 place blame on germany for the war and 2 use as a base for later U.S involvement.

  • enter the US into WW2

    The US after major taunting during Pearl Harbor enters the war to redeem itself, it also was the end of the Great depression.

  • The UN

    Being a major country during WW2 the U.S fin ally involved itself completely, and made it self a major super power right after the war along with russia. It is now one of the Permanet memeber of the UN.

  • Cold War Begins

    After becoming a major super power the U.S starts a major military build up against the Soviet Union.

  • Cuban Missle Crisis

    Russia plans to place Nuclear Miussles in Cuba after they strike a deal with its newly turned communist friend. In orde rot prevent it the U.S places a strategical navy blockade. It couldve been the start of a full out Nuclear war.
